This 14.8V, 6600mAh lithium-ion battery replaces the OEM pack in the Mindray BeneHeart D6, BeneHeart Z5, and BeneHeart Z6 portable defibrillators. It carries OEM part numbers LI34I001A, 022-000012-00, 022-000047-00, and several cross-references including LI34I002A and LI24I004A. Capacity is 6600mAh (97.68Wh) — matched to the original specification.
- BeneHeart D6, Z5, and Z6 compatibility: These three platforms share the same 14.8V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell architecture covers all three devices because the charge management IC reads the same authentication sequence from each dock.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge-discharge cycles on BeneHeart-series hardware. The BMS completed its initialisation handshake without error flags, and the charge IC accepted the cell without triggering a chemistry mismatch fault.
- Post-installation startup protocol: After fitting this battery, allow the device to complete its full power-on self-test cycle without interruption. The BMS runs a verification sequence at startup — cutting power during this window generates a false battery fault that persists until the next clean reboot cycle.
BeneHeart D6 not completing boot sequence after battery swap
The BeneHeart D6 runs a multi-stage POST that includes a battery authentication check timed to the first 30–60 seconds after power-on. If the new cell voltage sits below roughly 13.5V from storage self-discharge, the boot sequence stalls at the battery verification stage and the device does not reach the ready state. This is not a fault in the replacement cell — it is a low-voltage entry condition in the device firmware. Fully charge the pack to 16.8V before the first installation, then power on the device and leave it undisturbed through the entire self-test cycle.
Low battery alarm triggering immediately after a confirmed full charge
A fresh cell has not yet completed a BMS learn cycle, so the state-of-charge estimation is based on open-circuit voltage rather than a calibrated capacity map. The device alarm threshold is set against an OEM-calibrated profile, and a new cell can read slightly low on that scale until the BMS accumulates one full charge-discharge cycle. Run the battery through one complete discharge under normal device load, then charge it fully before checking the alarm status again. After that cycle the SOC estimate aligns and the alarm clears.
