This 7.56V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces OEM part LI12I003A in the Mindray BeneVision N1 patient monitor. The BeneVision N1 is a compact clinical monitor used for continuous vital signs tracking during patient transport and bedside care. This battery powers the device when AC supply is unavailable.
- BeneVision N1 platform fit: The N1 uses a 7.56V cell configuration with a proprietary connector and BMS handshake tied to OEM part numbers LI12I003A, 022.000338-00, and 115-049427-00. All three cross-reference the same battery slot and charge circuit on this monitor.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through the BeneVision N1 power-on self-test sequence and confirmed the BMS handshake completed without fault flags. Charge termination behaviour matched OEM parameters on the N1 charge IC.
- First-use self-test protocol: After installing this battery, allow the N1 to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. Cutting power during that sequence causes the BMS to log a false battery fault that persists until the next complete reboot cycle.
Why the BeneVision N1 alarms low battery immediately after a confirmed full charge
The N1 BMS validates cell chemistry during the first charge-discharge cycle and compares it against stored OEM thresholds. A new cell that has not completed one full cycle may not pass that validation, even if the charge indicator reads full. The monitor interprets this as a subthreshold cell and raises a low battery alarm as a clinical safety measure. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle before placing the unit in clinical rotation — the alarm clears once the BMS accepts the cell profile.
BeneVision N1 will not power on after battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage drops below the N1 BMS recovery threshold — typically around 2.5V per cell — the BMS locks out power delivery as a protection measure. The monitor will show no response at all, which is often misread as a dead unit rather than a discharged battery. Connect the N1 to AC power and leave it on charge for a minimum of 30 minutes before attempting to power on; this allows the charge IC to trickle-charge the cell back above the recovery threshold.
