SV350 PRO alarming low battery with a freshly charged replacement installed
The SV350 PRO BMS was calibrated against the OEM cell's charge profile. A new third-party cell may not pass the BMS threshold check on the first cycle because its internal resistance and charge curve read slightly outside the expected window. This is not a fault with the cell — it is the BMS applying a conservative pass/fail gate. Run one complete charge-to-full, full-discharge cycle, then recharge. After that conditioning cycle, the BMS recalibrates its reference and the low-battery alarm clears at the correct charge level.
Monitor will not power on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage drops below approximately 10.8V — the SV-series BMS recovery threshold — the monitor will not boot because the BMS interprets that voltage as a damaged or over-discharged pack. Connect the monitor to mains power first and leave it on charge for at least two hours before pressing power. This allows the charge IC to trickle-charge the cell back above the BMS wake threshold. Once the cell climbs past roughly 12V, the BMS re-initialises and the monitor powers on normally.
