Mindray TMS-6016 / BP10 — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LI11I001A)
This 3.8V 1800mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the Mindray TMS-6016 and BP10 portable ultrasound systems. It fits the internal battery bay directly and matches the OEM voltage rail required by the device's power management circuit. Compatible OEM references include LI11I001A, 022-000198-00, and 115-035534-00.
- TMS-6016 and BP10 platform fit: Both units share the same internal battery bay geometry, BMS handshake protocol, and 3.8V supply rail. One cell covers both platforms without any modification to connectors or firmware.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, standby, and load draw sequences on compatible hardware. The BMS completed authentication and voltage verification without triggering a battery fault at any stage.

Medical-grade BMS firmware runs a battery verification pass at boot — cutting power during this sequence writes a false fault flag that persists until the next clean reboot.
Why the TMS-6016 flags a battery fault on a confirmed full charge
The TMS-6016 BMS stores a chemistry baseline from the previous cell and compares incoming voltage curve data against it on each startup. A new cell with no cycle history produces a curve that sits outside the learned window, which the firmware reads as a fault rather than a new battery. Running one full charge-discharge cycle gives the BMS enough data to update its baseline and clear the flag. After that cycle, the fault does not return.
Charge indicator stalling below 100% on first charge
On first charge, the device's charge IC applies a conservative current ceiling to an unconditioned cell. This causes the displayed charge percentage to plateau — often between 85% and 95% — before the cycle completes. This is a charge controller behaviour, not a fault with the cell. Let the charge cycle run to natural termination without unplugging; the indicator will reach 100% once the IC confirms the cell voltage has stabilised at 4.2V.
