Mio Moov 200 shutting off without warning during navigation
When an aging battery's capacity drops significantly, the voltage sags faster than the on-screen indicator tracks. The unit's low-battery visual warning and the actual cutoff threshold fall out of sync, so the device shuts down while the indicator still shows one bar. Fitting a new cell recalibrates this relationship — the indicator reads accurately again once the battery holds a full charge cycle. After fitting, charge to 100% and run one full navigation session to let the fuel gauge re-anchor to the new cell's discharge curve.
Saved routes and POIs missing after battery swap
The Moov 200 stores some navigation data — including saved destinations and recent routes — in battery-backed RAM. Removing the original cell completely clears the power holding that memory. This is expected behaviour, not a fault with the replacement cell. After fitting the new battery, reload any saved POI files from the SD card or re-enter destinations manually before your first navigation session.
