This is a 7.4V, 5200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Monster DNA MAX portable Bluetooth speaker (model 2MNSK0486). It replaces the original INR18650-2S2P 2S2P cell pack when the factory battery no longer holds charge. Swap it in to restore audio playback and wireless connectivity without replacing the whole speaker.

The DNA MAX amplifier draws a sharp current spike at high playback volume. A deeply discharged Li-ion pack can fall below the USB-C PD minimum acceptance voltage, so the charger handshake never initialises and the speaker appears completely dead. The BMS blocks charge input as a protection measure when cell voltage drops too low. To recover the pack, connect it to a charger that supports trickle or pre-charge mode and leave it for 15–20 minutes before expecting the speaker to respond. If the cell voltage is at or above 2.5V per cell, the BMS will accept the trickle current and begin recovery.
