MyPhone 6300 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BS-07)
This is a 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion cell built to fit the MyPhone 6300 smartphone. It replaces the original BS-07 battery when the factory cell degrades and can no longer hold a usable charge. Dimensions are 62.30 × 38.00 × 4.50 mm — confirm these against your original before fitting.
- MyPhone 6300 fit: The 6300 uses a removable BS-07 cell on a standard 3.7V single-cell rail. The connector, physical footprint, and BMS handshake match the OEM spec, so the phone's charge IC recognises the new cell without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge cycles through a controlled load and confirmed the BMS holds the 4.2V charge ceiling correctly and trips protection at the low-voltage cutoff without false triggers.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after fitting, disable any fast-charge option and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the MyPhone 6300 after a cell swap
A fresh cell has a different discharge curve than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to. When the phone hits a voltage point the IC misreads as 20–30%, the actual cell voltage may already be at the knee of the curve. Under load from the modem or display, voltage sags past the cutoff threshold and the phone shuts off before the percentage reaches zero. One full discharge cycle — draining to auto-shutdown, then charging uninterrupted to 100% — lets the coulomb counter re-anchor to the new cell's actual capacity.
MyPhone 6300 reporting incorrect battery percentage after replacement
The fuel gauge IC stores a learned model of the old cell's impedance and capacity. After fitting a new BS-07 cell, that stored model no longer matches the actual cell, so percentage readings jump or stall at fixed points — commonly 99%, 50%, or near empty. The IC needs at least one uninterrupted full cycle to reset its baseline. Charge the phone to 100% without interruption, use it until it shuts off on low battery, then charge again to 100% — the gauge recalibrates across that full voltage window.
