This 3.7V 850mAh (3.15Wh) Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the NEC N110, N118, N650i, and N342i mobile phones. It fits the same battery bay and connector as the factory unit. Use the Capacity figure above — 850mAh — as the reference spec for this cell.

This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter to the new cell's actual discharge curve and stops erratic percentage readings early on.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the NEC N110 after a cell swap
A new cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile than the aged original. When the phone's modem fires up for a call or the screen peaks brightness, current draw spikes. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's curve, it misreads available voltage and the phone shuts down even though the reported percentage looks safe. The fix is one full discharge-charge cycle with no interruptions — this resets the coulomb counter baseline. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.
Phone shows incorrect battery percentage after replacement
The fuel gauge IC on these NEC models learns the cell's discharge curve over time. Fit a new cell and it still references the old curve — so percentage readings jump, stall, or drop suddenly in the last quarter. This is a calibration state, not a fault with the cell. Drain the phone fully until it powers off on its own, then charge it to 100% in one session. The IC recalibrates against the new curve and percentage reporting stabilises.
