This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh lithium-polymer battery for the Neeo Control 4 and NE-RMT smart home remote controls. It replaces OEM part AHB404066 when the original cell no longer holds a charge. Dimensions are 68.20 × 39.50 × 4.00mm — confirm against your existing cell before installing.

Why the Control 4 remote drains faster after a software update
Firmware updates on the Control 4 platform can increase polling frequency between the remote and the home controller hub. Higher polling means the RF or IR transmitter fires more often in the background, drawing more current even during idle periods. If your original battery lasted months and the replacement drains in weeks, check the Neeo app for a firmware rollback option or reduce the remote's update interval in the Control 4 director settings. A resting voltage of 3.6–3.7V after a full charge confirms the cell itself is not the issue.
Remote shows charging but voltage won't climb past 3.5V
A Li-Polymer cell left fully depleted for an extended period can drop below the BMS recovery threshold — typically around 2.5V — and the charger may report activity without actually recovering the cell. The BMS enters a trickle pre-charge state and may stall there if the cell voltage is too far gone. Disconnect the remote, wait 10 minutes, then reconnect to force a BMS re-initialisation cycle. If the cell still won't climb past 3.5V after 30 minutes on charge, the old cell has reached end of life and the AHB404066 replacement is the correct next step.
