This 7.4V 1800mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original LIP855440 2S1P cell pack in the Neusoft SCP-XIKANG-3001 portable medical monitor. It fits directly into the device's battery bay and connects to the same BMS communication lines as the factory unit. Capacity is 1800mAh (13.32Wh) — matched to the original specification.
- SCP-XIKANG-3001 fit: The 2S1P cell configuration runs the same 7.4V nominal rail the device's power circuitry expects. The connector pinout and BMS data lines match the OEM layout, so the device recognises the pack and reports charge state correctly through its onboard monitoring system.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a load tester, confirmed the protection circuit trips at the correct overvoltage and undervoltage thresholds, and verified the BMS handshake returns a valid status signal — not a fault code — during simulated device startup.
- Post-installation self-test requirement: After fitting this battery, allow the SCP-XIKANG-3001 to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The device runs a BMS verification routine at startup — cutting power during this sequence causes a false battery fault flag that persists until the next clean reboot.
SCP-XIKANG-3001 not completing boot sequence on a new battery
The SCP-XIKANG-3001 runs a battery authentication and BMS learn step during boot. A fresh cell that has not completed its first full charge-discharge cycle may sit just below the internal threshold the device checks against, causing the boot sequence to stall or loop. This is not a fault with the battery — it is the device applying a conservative validation check. Charge the pack fully to 8.4V using the original charger, then power the device on and allow the full self-test to complete before use.
Charge indicator not reaching 100% on the first charge
On the first charge cycle, the device's charge IC applies a reduced termination current to a new, uncharacterised cell. This means the indicator may plateau at 90–95% and stop climbing before the expected full-charge state. The pack is not defective — the charge controller is being conservative. Run one complete charge followed by a full discharge under normal device operation, then recharge fully; after this conditioning cycle the indicator reliably reaches 100%.
