- Nevo S70 compatibility: The S70 uses a single flat Li-ion cell at 3.7V nominal. The BMS inside the remote expects this voltage rail to operate the IR emitter and onboard processor. Swapping to any other voltage or chemistry causes the remote to under-perform or fail to power on.

If the remote still doesn't respond, hold the power button for 10 seconds to clear any residual charge in the capacitors before retrying.

This happens when battery voltage drops below the IR LED's minimum output threshold — the emitter still fires, but the signal is too weak to bounce off walls or reach sensors at wider angles.
