One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% corrects the cutoff threshold.
Nuvision tablet stuck in a reboot loop after battery replacement
If the TM1088C reboots repeatedly after a battery swap, the cell voltage is likely below the minimum threshold the bootloader needs to complete POST. Connect the tablet to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on — do not press the power button during this window. The charge IC needs time to bring the new cell up from storage voltage, which typically sits around 3.6–3.7V, to the 3.8V floor the bootloader requires. Once the charge LED changes state or the charging animation appears, the tablet should boot normally.
