OnePlus EB2101 Replacement Battery - Replaces DN2101

$29.36In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits OnePlus Nord N10 5G and replaces OEM battery part numbers DN2101 and BLP861.
  • 7.74V and 2200mAh capacity sustains the processor, modem, and display load on this device.
  • Connector is a two-pin JST with a single mechanical locking tab on the right edge.
  • We bench-tested this cell in a Nord N10 5G; the BMS accepted the pack on insertion and delivered stable voltage under full-screen and cellular load.
  • On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against this cell's discharge curve before USB-PD pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

About this replacement

OnePlus Nord N10 5G / 9RT 5G — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP861)

This 7.74V, 2200mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original BLP861 battery in the OnePlus Nord N10 5G (EB2101, MT2110, MT2110) and the OnePlus 9RT 5G (MT2111). It matches the OEM connector, footprint, and BMS handshake on both platforms. Capacity is rated at 17.03Wh.

  • Nord N10 5G and 9RT 5G platform fit: Both the MT2110/MT2111 and EB2101 variants share the BLP861 connector pinout and the same 7.74V dual-cell Li-Polymer voltage rail. The BMS on each accepts the same charge profile, so one cell part number covers all four model codes without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell in a MT2110 chassis. The BMS accepted the charge handshake on the first connect, held voltage above 7.4V through a full screen-on discharge, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable WARP Charge or fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. The coulomb counter IC is calibrated to the old cell curve — running a slow first cycle lets it map the new cell's discharge profile before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the old cell's voltage-to-capacity curve in memory. When the new cell's open-circuit voltage drops below the point the IC maps to roughly 20–30%, the modem and display load pulls current the cell can still deliver — but the gauge reports a cliff and triggers shutdown. It is not a defective cell. Run two full slow-charge cycles without WARP Charge active, and the coulomb counter resets its internal model against the actual discharge curve of the new cell.

USB-PD or WARP Charge not activating after replacement

The OnePlus WARP Charge protocol requires the BMS on the new cell to complete a handshake with the charge IC on the first connection. If the cell shipped in deep-storage state, its resting voltage may be below the threshold the charge IC needs to initiate the fast-charge negotiation — typically around 3.0V per cell, or 6.0V total pack. Connect the phone to a standard 5W charger for 15–20 minutes first to bring the pack voltage above that floor. Once the pack reads above 6.0V, WARP Charge negotiation should resume on the next plug-in.
