OnePlus OnePlus 11 — 7.78V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLP975)
This is a 7.78V, 2400mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery carrying OEM part number BLP975. It fits the OnePlus 11 smartphone. Install it to restore a phone that no longer holds charge, shuts down unexpectedly, or has a physically swollen cell.
- OnePlus 11 cell fit: The OnePlus 11 uses a dual-cell Li-Polymer pack wired in series to hit the 7.78V nominal rail. BLP975 matches that series configuration, the flex connector pinout, and the NTC thermistor wiring the charge IC monitors during VOOC Flash Charge sessions.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran BLP975 through charge and discharge cycles on the OnePlus 11 mainboard. The BMS accepted the cell, the charge IC negotiated VOOC correctly after the first full cycle, and voltage held above the 6.4V cutoff threshold under sustained screen-on load.
- First-cycle fast charge hold-off: On first use after installation, disable VOOC or Warp charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC on the OnePlus 11 uses a coulomb counter calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — running high-current fast charge before that recalibration completes pushes current into a cell the IC has not yet mapped.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
The OnePlus 11 modem, display, and CPU together can spike current draw to 4–5A during peak load. A new cell that has not completed one full calibration cycle can hit a localised voltage sag the fuel gauge IC misreads as safe. When cell voltage dips below the hardware cutoff — roughly 3.2V per cell under load — the phone shuts off even though the reported percentage looks fine. The fix is one full discharge to auto-off followed by a slow charge to 100% with fast charging disabled. After that cycle the coulomb counter has a mapped curve and sudden shutdowns stop.
USB-PD or VOOC fast charge not triggering after installation
The OnePlus 11 charge controller handshakes with the battery BMS before it steps up to VOOC current. On a freshly installed cell, the BMS sometimes returns a resistance or temperature value outside the expected window on the first query, and the charge IC falls back to standard 5W input rather than risk an over-current event. This is not a fault — it clears after the cell reaches full charge once on standard input. Confirm the phone is drawing standard charge on that first cycle, let it reach 100%, then reconnect the VOOC charger and the handshake will complete at the higher current level.
