This is a 7.6V, 2600mAh (19.76Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Panasonic Toughbook CF-XZ6 and CF-XZ62 series ultraportable laptops. It fits all CF-XZ6 variants including the CF-XZ62DCQR and CF-XZ62FKQR, covering OEM part numbers CF-VZSU0WU, CF-VZSU0XU, and CF-VZSU0ZU. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold a stable charge through a full field session.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after swapping the CF-XZ6 cell
When the CF-XZ6 BIOS flags a new battery as degraded or poor health straight after install, the cause is almost always stale EEPROM data from the previous cell — not a fault in the replacement. The BIOS compares the new cell's reported charge capacity against a learned baseline stored from the old battery. Until the system runs a full learn cycle, those figures won't match. Complete one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, then check BIOS battery status again.
CF-XZ6 shutting down at 20–30% state of charge shown on screen
This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual voltage curve. The gauge reads 25% but the cell voltage has already dropped below the threshold the load demands under full CPU and display draw — so the system cuts out. It is a calibration gap, not a defective cell. Run two to three full charge-discharge cycles and the gauge IC will map the new cell accurately. After calibration, shutdown should not occur above 5–7% indicated charge.
