The VIERA tablet's charge controller uses a negotiation handshake with the battery's BMS before enabling the higher charge rate. On the first cycle with a new cell, the controller defaults to standard charge current until it has completed one accepted charge session and logged the cell's response data. This is normal behaviour — not a fault with the battery or charger. After the first full charge cycle completes, the fast charge option becomes available through the device's normal charging protocol.
