This 12V 700mAh Ni-MH battery replaces part number 110060-S in the Pfrimmer Ernahrungspumpe feeding pump, including the Nutricia Nutromat S and Nutromat SX variants. It powers portable operation of the pump during patient feeding sessions when mains power is unavailable. Voltage and connector match the original cell pack exactly.
- Nutromat S and SX compatibility: These two models share the same 12V battery rail, connector housing, and BMS handshake protocol as the base Ernahrungspumpe, which is why a single cell pack covers all three. Swapping between them requires no modification.

Low battery alarm triggering immediately after a confirmed full charge
The Ernahrungspumpe BMS sets its low-battery threshold against the OEM cell's rested voltage profile. A new Ni-MH cell hasn't yet established a stable charge curve, so the BMS can misread its open-circuit voltage and fire the alarm even at full charge. This isn't a faulty battery — it's the BMS applying a threshold the new cell hasn't yet learned to satisfy. Run one complete charge-to-discharge cycle through the pump itself, then recharge fully. After that conditioning cycle, the alarm threshold and the cell's actual voltage profile align correctly.
Pump failing to complete boot sequence after the battery sat in storage
Ni-MH cells self-discharge at roughly 1–2% per day. A battery stored for several months can drop below 9V resting voltage — below the point where the pump's BMS will authorise a boot sequence. The device may appear completely dead, with no display activity. Place the battery on a compatible external Ni-MH charger first and bring it above 10.8V before reinserting it. Once the cell clears that recovery threshold, the pump will initialise normally.
