Charge the battery to full before the first boot, then allow the device to complete its entire startup sequence uninterrupted. One full charge-discharge cycle resets the BMS baseline and clears the fault flag.

On these medical platforms, the charge IC applies a conservative current limit when it first sees a new cell with no stored cycle history. The charge curve flattens noticeably in the top 10–15% of capacity, making the indicator appear stuck.
