A new Ni-CD replacement reads differently under initial load, and the BMS interprets the voltage curve as below-threshold — triggering a low battery alarm even on a full charge. This is a learn-cycle issue, not a defective battery. Complete one full charge-discharge cycle before clinical use. The BMS updates its reference profile after that cycle and the alarm clears.
