This 3.7V, 370mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the original CANR-G15 battery in Plutour Wireless Cameras, including OnReal and LifeCam variants used in home security setups. At 31.10 x 26.50 x 5.35mm, the physical footprint matches the original bay exactly. Voltage and capacity are matched to what the camera's BMS expects.
- OnReal, LifeCam, and CANR-G15 model compatibility: These cameras share the same 3.7V power rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake requirements. A single cell spec covers the full range without any adapter or wiring modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through motion-triggered recording sequences and verified the BMS holds charge delivery stable through IR LED activation spikes without tripping undervoltage cutoff.
- First-install power cycle: After fitting the new cell, power cycle the camera once through the app. The firmware must re-register the new battery before motion events log correctly to cloud storage — skipping this step can cause missed recordings even when the camera appears online.
Camera going offline in the app after a battery swap
When the original cell drops out completely, the camera loses its active session token. Fitting a new battery restores power but the app still holds a stale connection record from the previous session. The camera may show as offline or unresponsive even with a full charge. Re-add the device through the app's camera management menu to force a fresh token handshake.
App reporting 0% or incorrect battery percentage after install
These cameras use a voltage-threshold indicator, not a fuel-gauge IC. When a new cell first powers the unit, the firmware reads one voltage point and maps it to a percentage — if that reading catches a resting voltage below its top-tier threshold, it logs a low figure. Run one full discharge-to-charge cycle and the reported percentage will align with the actual cell state. The cell is fully charged at 4.2V.
