PowerVision PVS10 Replacement Battery - Replaces ZHDA01

$29.36In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits PowerVision PVS10 and S1 gimbal stabilizers; replaces OEM battery ZHDA01.
  • 15.4V, 850mAh lithium-polymer pack delivers stable voltage across three-axis motor draws during handheld operation.
  • Connector seats flat into gimbal battery slot with positive contact alignment; no locking tab required.
  • We bench-tested the cell under simulated pan-tilt-roll sequences; BMS held steady until peak motor draw, then settled without cutoff.
  • Balance your camera on the gimbal before first power-on — unbalanced loads force constant motor compensation and trigger voltage sag during aggressive pan moves.

About this replacement

PowerVision PVS10 / S1 — 15.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (ZHDA01)

This is a 15.4V, 850mAh Li-Polymer battery for the PowerVision PVS10 and S1 gimbal stabilisers. It slots in place of OEM part ZHDA01 and powers the three-axis brushless motor system that keeps footage stable during handheld shooting. Capacity figure comes from the product specification — 13.09Wh.

  • PVS10 and S1 shared platform: Both gimbals run the same 15.4V motor driver board and use an identical battery bay with the same BMS handshake. The voltage rail and connector pinout are common across the two models, so one battery covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through repeated 3-axis motion sequences and monitored BMS behaviour under combined peak motor draw. The protection circuit held cutoff thresholds consistent with the OEM cell across aggressive pan and tilt inputs.
  • Gimbal balance before power-on: Balance the camera on the gimbal before switching it on. An unbalanced load forces the motors to work at elevated current continuously — not just during movement — which accelerates cell depletion and can trigger a BMS overcurrent trip on hard moves.

Gimbal not initialising correctly after a battery swap

The PVS10's IMU runs its startup calibration sequence the moment power is applied. If the battery voltage is slightly depressed from storage, the IMU may receive an unstable supply during those first two seconds and fail to lock its orientation reference. The result is a gimbal that powers on but holds the wrong horizon or drifts immediately. Charge the replacement battery to full before first use and make sure the gimbal sits flat and motionless during the startup sequence — the IMU needs both stable voltage and a static reference point to initialise correctly.

Stabilisation softening before the battery indicator reads low

At 850mAh, the cell has limited headroom when all three axes are working simultaneously against a fast-moving subject. As the cell depletes past roughly 60% state of charge, voltage sag under combined motor draw increases, and the motors receive slightly less torque than the controller is commanding. The gimbal still moves, but correction speed drops and you start to see micro-jitter in the footage before the battery LED flags anything. If stabilisation feels soft, check actual battery state — the indicator LEDs on this gimbal step in coarse increments and can read one bar higher than the real condition warrants.
