This 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Prestigio MultiPhone 4322 Duo dual-SIM smartphone. It fits the PAP4322 DUO slot directly and restores power to the processor, display, and both SIM radios. Capacity is 1500mAh (5.55Wh) — matching the factory spec.
- MultiPhone 4322 Duo compatibility: The 4322 Duo runs dual SIM radios simultaneously, which draws higher standby current than single-SIM models. This cell matches the correct voltage rail and connector pinout so both SIM slots stay active without triggering the BMS over-current cutoff.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a 4322 Duo unit. The BMS accepted charge from 0% without lockout, and both SIM radios held registration through the full discharge curve.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC one clean cycle to map the new cell's discharge curve before resuming normal use.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Prestigio 4322 Duo
This is a voltage cliff failure. Under peak load — screen on, both SIM radios transmitting, or a call connecting — the cell voltage drops sharply even though the fuel gauge still shows 20–30%. When cell voltage falls below the BMS cutoff threshold (typically 3.0V under load), the phone shuts down immediately. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's curve and does not anticipate the steeper voltage drop of a fresh cell. One full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter and eliminates the premature shutdowns.
Phone shows wrong percentage after battery replacement
The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the previous cell. After swapping in a new cell, that stored curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The phone reads voltage, maps it against the old curve, and reports a percentage that can be 10–25% off. Charge the replacement cell to 100%, let the phone run down to automatic shutdown without interruption, then charge back to 100% — after that cycle the fuel gauge IC locks onto the correct curve and percentage readings stabilise.
