Prestigio Muze C3 — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (PSP3504 DUO)
This is a 3.8V, 2000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Prestigio Muze C3 smartphone (model PSP3504 DUO). It slots directly into the handset and restores power to a phone that no longer holds a charge. Voltage and connector match the original cell specification.
- Muze C3 / PSP3504 DUO fit: Both the Muze C3 and PSP3504 DUO use the same 3.8V single-cell configuration and identical connector pinout, so one battery covers both model references without modification to the flex cable or contact pad.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a Muze C3 unit and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell, completed a full charge cycle without thermal flags, and held voltage above the low-battery cutoff threshold under screen and modem load.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging if available and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. The fuel gauge IC needs to map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step produces inaccurate percentage readings early on.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Muze C3 after a cell swap
This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old, degraded cell's voltage curve. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff near the end of discharge, so the phone hits the hardware cutoff before the displayed percentage reaches zero. The fix is a full uninterrupted discharge — run the phone to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that single cycle the coulomb counter resets against the new cell and percentage drops become linear again.
Phone warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges
A new Li-ion cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC pushes current into that higher impedance, generating more heat than you'll see after the first three to five cycles. As long as the phone does not display an overheat warning and the warmth is concentrated near the battery rather than the USB port, this is normal break-in behaviour. If the phone throws a temperature fault or shuts down mid-charge, check that the replacement cell contacts are seated flush against the board connectors.
