Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The PC-AKS3034 motor pulls harder when the filter is partially blocked — airflow restriction forces the motor to work against increased resistance. That elevated current draw causes voltage to sag at the cell level before the indicator circuit registers a low-battery state. The vacuum loses suction while the indicator still reads mid-charge because the BMS is reacting to voltage sag, not state of charge. Clean or replace the filter first; if sag continues on a clear filter, the cell pack has likely lost capacity and needs replacement.
Motor cuts out briefly then recovers during use
A momentary cutout followed by recovery is a BMS overcurrent trip — not a wiring fault. It happens when sustained airflow restriction (blocked filter, sealed nozzle, or heavy carpet pile) pushes motor current above the BMS protection threshold. The BMS disconnects the cell pack for a few seconds, then resets once current normalises. Clear the filter and nozzle path, then retest; if the cutout continues on an open airway, measure pack voltage at rest — a healthy cell should read above 15.8V at full charge.
