This is a 14.4V 2600mAh (37.44Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Proscenic M8, Floobot X1, Floobot X1s, and V10 cordless vacuums. It slots into the same battery bay and connects to the same BMS handshake points as the original pack. Capacity figures come from the product data, not the web.
- M8 and Floobot X1 series fit: The M8, Floobot X1, Floobot X1s, and V10 all run the same 14.4V rail with an identical connector and BMS communication protocol. One cell pack covers all four models because the motor controller expects the same voltage curve across the whole lineup.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the M8 platform. The BMS responded correctly to the vacuum's motor-start draw spike, held voltage under sustained carpet load, and triggered the low-cell warning at the expected threshold without nuisance cutoffs.
- Dock charging on the M8: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock indefinitely between uses. The M8's dock delivers a trickle current after the pack reaches full charge, and continuous trickle exposure accelerates capacity fade faster than normal cycle wear. Charge to full, then remove it from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the M8
This happens because the motor is working harder than rated, not because the battery is exhausted. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw excess current, which causes voltage to sag under load even when the cell state-of-charge is still high. The battery indicator reads cell voltage at rest, so it shows green while the actual working voltage is collapsing under load. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers and holds, the battery is not the problem.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failing cell. When the vacuum hits a restriction — a blockage, a full dustbin, or a clogged post-motor filter — current draw spikes above the BMS protection threshold and the pack disconnects to protect the cells. The BMS resets automatically after a short thermal cooldown, which is why power returns without pressing anything. Clear the blockage, check the dustbin, and inspect all filters before concluding the battery itself is at fault.
