Puppyoo V-M611 / V-M611A — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (INR18650-3S)
This is an 11.1V, 2600mAh (28.86Wh) Li-ion battery pack for the Puppyoo V-M611 and V-M611A cordless stick vacuums. It replaces the original INR18650-3S cell pack when capacity has dropped or the battery no longer holds a charge. Voltage and connector match the original — no modifications needed.
- V-M611 and V-M611A compatibility: Both models run the same 11.1V motor rail and share the INR18650-3S pack format. The BMS handshake, cell configuration, and connector are identical across both variants, so one battery covers either unit.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a V-M611 unit. The BMS responded correctly to both motor-start draw and sustained suction load — no overcurrent trips under normal operating conditions.
- Dock charging habit on this vacuum: Do not leave the V-M611 sitting on the charging dock continuously. These vacuums are not built with the float-charge management of larger household appliances. Charge to full, remove from the dock, and reconnect only when the battery is depleted.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The V-M611 motor pulls harder when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter or full dust cup forces the motor to draw above its rated current. The BMS reads this as a low-voltage sag and scales back power to protect the cells, even if the battery indicator still shows charge remaining. The result is noticeably weaker suction mid-session with no warning light. Clean or replace the filter and empty the dust cup before assuming the battery is the cause.
Motor cutting out mid-use and then recovering after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the motor is held under sustained restricted suction — especially on thick carpet or around a blockage — current spikes beyond the BMS threshold and it shuts the output to protect the cells. Releasing the trigger for 10–15 seconds allows the BMS to reset and output resumes. Clear any blockage in the brush head or hose, then check that resting cell voltage is above 10.5V before ruling out a battery fault.
