Ravioli MH1300 / Micropiu — 7.2V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (MH1300)
This is a 7.2V 1200mAh Ni-MH battery for the Ravioli MH1300 and Micropiu wireless crane remote transmitters. It replaces OEM part numbers MH1300, LNC1300, and NC1300. The battery restores power to the handheld transmitter used to operate overhead cranes and industrial lifting equipment.
- MH1300 and Micropiu transmitter fit: Both remotes share the same 7.2V cell configuration, connector pinout, and BMS handshake requirements. A single battery covers both units without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and discharge on the MH1300 transmitter. The BMS accepted the cell pack without fault codes, and solenoid activation commands during testing did not cause voltage dropout or unexpected cutoff.
- Monthly charge cycle for idle remotes: Crane remotes often sit unused for weeks between jobs. Ni-MH cells self-discharge at roughly 1–2% per day. A remote left uncharged for two months can drop low enough that the transmitter refuses to power on. Charge the battery once a month during any idle period to keep cell voltage above the minimum threshold.
Solenoid activation causing power dropout on a freshly installed battery
When the transmitter sends a crane command, the internal relay or solenoid draws a short inrush current spike. If the battery's internal resistance is elevated — common in cells at partial charge or after long storage — voltage sags momentarily below the transmitter's operating threshold. The remote interprets this as a low-battery event and drops out mid-command. Charge the battery fully before first use and confirm terminal voltage reads at least 8.4V off the charger before operating the crane.

A new Ni-MH pack ships at storage voltage — typically 6.8–7.0V — not full charge. The MH1300 transmitter reads this as a depleted cell and flags low battery straight away. This is not a fault with the battery. Place the battery on charge for a full cycle before use. Once terminal voltage reaches 8.4V, the low-battery indicator will clear and the remote will operate normally.
