Razer Blade 15 Base — 15.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (RC30-0270)
This is a 15.4V, 4150mAh (63.91Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Razer Blade 15 Base laptop. It fits the Blade 15 Base 2018 and related GTX 1660 Ti and Hazel Stealth variants using OEM part number RC30-0270. Install it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the laptop won't run unplugged.
- Blade 15 Base compatibility: The 2018 and subsequent Blade 15 Base models share the RC30-0270 battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between sub-variants in this generation works because Razer kept the same 15.4V architecture and physical form factor across the GTX 1060, 1660 Ti, and Hazel Stealth configurations.

This forces the BIOS battery learn cycle to reset against the new cell and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting a new RC30-0270
The Blade 15 Base EC reads health data from EEPROM stored on the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored data is gone, and the BIOS flags the battery as degraded before any calibration has run. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle followed by a continuous charge to 100% with the lid closed. After that single learn cycle, the health indicator in both the BIOS and Windows will reflect the actual state of the new cell.
Blade 15 Base shutting down abruptly at 20–30% charge shown on screen
This happens when the cell voltage drops below the EC's shutdown threshold under full CPU plus display load — even though the fuel gauge still reads 20–30%. The fuel gauge IC hasn't calibrated its discharge curve against the new cell yet, so the percentage shown is wrong. Under a heavy gaming or rendering load, the real cell voltage hits the cutoff cliff before the gauge catches up. Run two to three full discharge-to-hibernate and uninterrupted charge cycles until the gauge IC maps the new cell's actual discharge curve, then recheck behaviour under load.
