App reporting 0% or wrong battery percentage after installation
The 1373174 uses a voltage-threshold indicator, not a fuel gauge IC. It reads cell voltage at fixed intervals and maps that to a percentage — but it calibrates those thresholds against the cell it last fully charged. A new cell installed at a partial state of charge sits outside the expected voltage curve, so the indicator reports 0% or a nonsense value. Run the camera until the original low-battery alert fires, then charge fully to 4.2V — one complete cycle resets the threshold mapping.
