Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
On the Dual Force 2 in 1, suction loss is often misread as a battery fault. The motor on this unit draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked — the BMS interprets the sustained high draw as a low-voltage condition and reduces output before the indicator registers. Check the filter first. A clean filter keeps motor draw at rated levels and stops early BMS throttling. If suction drops even with a clean filter, the cell may have degraded below usable capacity.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty power button. When restricted suction forces the motor to sustain high current draw — common on thick carpet or near a blockage — the BMS trips the circuit to protect the cell. The pack resets after the cell temperature drops, which is why the vacuum restarts after a pause. Clear any blockage in the nozzle or hose, then clean the filter. If trips continue on unrestricted surfaces with a new pack, check that the replacement cell voltage reads at least 18.5V before first use.
