Suction dropping well before the battery indicator reaches low on RH675x
On this platform, the motor controller reduces power output when cell voltage sags under sustained load — even if the indicator still shows charge remaining. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw above its rated current, which deepens the voltage sag and triggers the controller's under-voltage response early. The battery is not necessarily the root cause. Clean or replace the filter first, then test again — if suction holds across a full charge cycle, the cells are functioning correctly.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When the RH675x motor draws a sustained spike — typically from a blockage or a heavily restricted filter — the BMS opens the discharge circuit to protect the cells. The pack resets once temperature and current normalise, which is why the vacuum restarts a minute or two later. Clear any blockage in the nozzle and floor head, wash the filter, and allow it to dry fully before retesting. If trips continue with a clean filter on a new pack, inspect the brush-roll for tangled debris causing sustained motor drag.
