Linea10 not booting after a new battery is installed

Connect the battery to the charger for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on. Once the cell reaches approximately 3.7V, the boot sequence completes normally.
Battery life noticeably shorter during active scanning sessions
Standby current on the Linea10 is low, but active barcode scanning and wireless radio transmission pull significantly more current per cycle. A worn original cell shows this gap first — adequate on idle, dead mid-session. This replacement provides a fresh 800mAh cell, restoring the capacity buffer that active scanning workflows consume. If life still seems short after a full first charge, check whether the wireless radio is set to always-on rather than on-demand.
