This is a 3.85V, 2850mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy A41 2020. It fits the SM-A415 series including SCV48 and SC-41A variants. The OEM part number is EB-BA415ABY, also cross-referenced as GH82-22861A.
- SM-A415 series compatibility: The SM-A415, SCV48, and SC-41A all share the same battery bay dimensions and connector pinout. The BMS handshake protocol is identical across these variants, so a single cell covers the full model group without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell in an SM-A415F under charge and discharge cycles. The BMS accepted the USB-PD handshake without rejection, and coulomb counter registration completed within the first full cycle.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Galaxy A41 after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or screen load at a point the IC doesn't recognise as critical. The phone cuts out before the percentage reading reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging re-maps the IC to the new cell and stops the premature cutoff.
Galaxy A41 won't power on after the replacement battery was stored flat
Li-Polymer cells dropped below approximately 2.5V trigger a BMS lockout as a safety measure against cell reversal. The phone won't respond to the power button and may not show any charge indicator. Connect the device to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. Once the BMS sees voltage rise above its recovery threshold, the charge indicator will appear and normal boot becomes possible.
