Phone reports wrong battery percentage after installing the new cell
The Galaxy J1 Ace uses a coulomb counter that accumulates charge and discharge data over time to estimate state of charge. After a cell replacement, the counter has no valid baseline for the new cell's capacity, so percentage readouts jump or stall at fixed points — commonly 50% or 100%.
