Why the Galaxy M20 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The M20 uses a fuel gauge IC that builds its charge model around the original cell's discharge curve over hundreds of cycles. The fix is the same recalibration cycle: drain the phone to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard speed.
