Samsung NX10 Replacement Battery - Replaces BP-1310

$20.71In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits Samsung NX10, NX5, NX11, NX100 mirrorless cameras; replaces BP-1310 and ED-BP1310 battery packs.
  • 7.4V, 850mAh capacity delivers full power for autofocus, flash recycling, and LCD operation on Samsung's mirrorless platform.
  • Connector slides straight into the battery chamber with a positive-contact spring lock; orientation marked on the camera body.
  • We ran a full discharge cycle in an NX10 body; BMS accepted the cell without authentication delay and held voltage stable through the final 10% of discharge.
  • On first install, charge this cell inside the camera body using Samsung's OEM charger—the NX10 BMS needs an internal charge cycle to map capacity display accurately to the new cell's discharge curve.

About this replacement

Samsung NX10 / NX5 / NX11 / NX100 — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP-1310)

This is a 7.4V, 850mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the Samsung BP-1310 battery pack. It fits the NX10, NX5, NX11, and NX100 mirrorless camera bodies. Voltage and capacity match OEM spec exactly — no modification needed to fit the battery compartment.

  • NX-series compatibility: The NX10, NX5, NX11, and NX100 all share the same battery bay geometry, 7.4V voltage rail, and BP-1310 connector format. The BMS communication protocol is identical across these bodies, so one cell covers the full platform without any electrical compromise.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on an NX10 body. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, charge termination triggered correctly at full voltage, and the indicator display tracked through normal depletion stages.
  • First-use charge cycle on the NX10: Insert this cell and run a full charge from within the camera body or OEM charger before shooting. The NX10 BMS maps battery-remaining percentage against a discharge curve — one complete charge cycle anchors that mapping and stops the indicator from jumping erratically early in the cell's life.

Camera showing dead battery indicator on a partially charged replacement cell

The NX10 reads battery level by comparing real-time cell voltage against a stored discharge curve from a previous charge cycle. A brand-new cell with no cycle history gives the BMS nothing to reference, so it defaults to showing low or empty even when charge is present. This is not a fault with the cell — it is a calibration gap. Run one full charge-to-discharge cycle through the camera body and the indicator will track accurately from that point forward.

Battery percentage jumping erratically mid-shoot

The NX10's fuel gauge samples voltage at brief intervals and maps those readings to a percentage table tuned for aged OEM cells. A new cell has a flatter discharge curve — voltage stays higher for longer, then drops quickly near the end. That mismatch causes the percentage to hold steady, then suddenly skip several steps down. This is a software-to-hardware curve mismatch, not a defective cell. After two to three full charge cycles, the BMS recalibrates and the display stabilises. If jumping persists beyond three cycles, check that the cell rests at or above 7.2V after a full charge.
