Samsung SCH-411 / SGH-410 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BTL1061EB)
The BTL1061EB is a 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion cell that fits the Samsung SCH-411, SGH-410, SCH-2500, and S410. It restores power to devices running on a degraded or failed original cell. Capacity figure is 1800mAh (6.66Wh) — same specification as the factory cell.
- SCH-411 / SGH-410 platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and charge IC handshake. One cell covers all of them. No adapters, no rewiring.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SCH-411. The BMS accepted the Samsung charge IC protocol on the first cycle, held voltage through screen-on loads, and did not trip low-voltage cutoff prematurely.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first full discharge-charge cycle after installation. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell — preventing erratic percentage readings from the first day.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BTL1061EB replacement cell
This happens when the phone's fuel gauge IC is still referencing the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop under modem or screen load near the bottom of its charge range. The phone interprets the voltage sag as a dead cell and shuts down — even though charge remains. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging recalibrates the coulomb counter and eliminates premature shutdowns.
Phone not powering on after the BTL1061EB sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage. The phone will show no response to the power button. Connect to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. Once the BMS detects a safe voltage above its recovery threshold, normal charging resumes.
