This is a 3.8V, 2020mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 (SM-W2015), Galaxy Golden 2, and SM-G9198 flip phones. It fits the original EB-BW201BBC slot and restores power to a clamshell handset that runs Android on a hinged form factor. Install it when the original cell can no longer hold charge through a normal day.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Galaxy Folder 2
A worn cell in the SM-W2015 loses internal voltage stability faster than the fuel gauge can track. When the modem fires or the display brightens sharply, the cell cannot hold voltage above the BMS cutoff threshold — the phone drops out even though the percentage still reads 25%. This is a voltage cliff, not a software bug. A fresh 2020mAh cell with lower internal resistance sustains the voltage rail under those load spikes, so the BMS cutoff is not triggered until the cell is genuinely depleted.
Phone reporting wrong percentage after the cell swap
The Galaxy Folder 2 uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state against the stored discharge curve of the previous cell. Swap the cell and that curve no longer matches the new cell's actual chemistry profile. The percentage readout jumps or stalls because the coulomb counter is still referencing old data. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this forces the IC to map the new curve and stabilises the percentage display.
