Why the Cardiovit AT102+ reports a battery fault after a confirmed successful swap
The AT102+ BMS stores chemistry calibration data from the previous cell. A new pack with a different charge history causes the BMS to flag a mismatch on first boot. This is not a fault with the replacement battery — it is the BMS resetting its internal model. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle and the calibration data overwrites cleanly. The fault indicator clears without any manual reset.
Charge indicator stalls below 100% on the first charge after installation
The Cardiovit's charge IC applies a conservative current limit when it detects a cell with no prior charge history. This causes the indicator to plateau — typically between 85% and 95% — before the cycle completes. The cell is not defective and the charge IC has not failed. Let the device charge uninterrupted until it terminates automatically. After one full cycle, the charge IC recalibrates and subsequent charges reach 100% correctly. If the indicator still stalls after three full cycles, check the dock contacts for oxidation and clean with isopropyl alcohol.
