Device not completing boot sequence after battery sat in storage
Li-MnO2 cells self-discharge slowly in storage, and if the cell voltage drops below approximately 10.5V the Fred Easy's BMS enters a protection state and refuses to initialise. The device appears completely dead — no screen, no tone, no response to the power button. Connect the device to its approved charger and leave it undisturbed for at least 60 minutes before attempting to power on. Once the charger brings the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, the boot sequence resumes normally.
