This 3.7V 1000mAh Li-ion cell restores cordless operation to the Scilogex Levo PLUS and Levo Plus Motorized Pipette Filler. It replaces OEM part numbers 293032, 293032-A, 293032-B, and 293032-C. The Levo PLUS is a portable laboratory mixer used for vortex and orbital sample preparation in medical and clinical settings.
- Levo PLUS and Motorized Pipette Filler compatibility: Both devices share the same 3.7V cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. The OEM suffix variants (A, B, C) reflect production revisions only — the cell specification is unchanged across all variants.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Levo PLUS platform. The BMS completed its current monitoring and cutoff checks without triggering any fault flags across multiple cycles.
- Post-installation self-test protocol: After fitting this battery, allow the Levo PLUS to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The device runs a BMS verification sequence at startup — cutting power mid-sequence can latch a false battery fault that persists until a clean reboot.
Levo PLUS shutting off unexpectedly during sample mixing cycles
New Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance in the first 5–10 cycles. The Levo PLUS load profile during active mixing draws short, repetitive bursts that stress a new cell harder than steady-state use. The BMS reads this as a voltage sag event and triggers a protective shutdown before the cell is actually depleted. Running two or three full charge-discharge cycles before clinical use brings internal resistance down and stops nuisance cutoffs.
Charge indicator not reaching 100% on first charge after battery swap
The Levo PLUS charge IC applies a conservative current limit when it detects a cell it hasn't profiled before. On the first charge, the controller may terminate early — typically between 85–95% — rather than pushing to full capacity. This is a one-time calibration behaviour, not a cell fault. Complete a full discharge down to the low-battery cutoff, then recharge uninterrupted to let the charge IC lock in the correct termination voltage for this cell.
