SenHaix 1410 / 1420 / 1430 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SP523450)
The SP523450 is a 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion cell that powers the SenHaix 1410, 1420, and 1430 handheld two-way radios. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects to the same BMS contact points. Capacity is 1000mAh — use the product data, not third-party listings that inflate this figure.
- 1410, 1420, and 1430 compatibility: These three SenHaix models share the same battery bay geometry, contact pin layout, and voltage rail. A single SP523450 cell fits all three without modification or adapter.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and transmit-load discharge on a 1410 body. The BMS held the voltage rail steady through repeated PTT bursts and tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold — no false overcurrent events.
- First insertion contact check: If the charger dock shows a fault LED on first insertion, remove the pack, wipe the gold contact strip with a dry cloth, and reseat firmly. The SenHaix dock requires a clean contact cycle to register the BMS handshake before it will begin charging.
Why the SenHaix 1410 cuts out mid-transmission on a fresh SP523450
A new cell ships at storage voltage — typically 3.6V to 3.65V, not a full 4.2V charge. When you press PTT, transmit current spikes sharply. If the cell hasn't been charged first, that spike can pull the voltage below the BMS overcurrent trip threshold and cut the radio mid-transmission. This is not a fault with the pack. Charge the battery fully before the first transmit cycle and the issue won't repeat.

SenHaix radios use voltage-threshold bar indicators — each bar maps to a fixed voltage step, not a capacity percentage. A new cell at storage voltage (around 3.6V) sits below the top threshold, so the radio shows one bar short of full even though the pack is not depleted. Place the battery in the charger dock until the charge light goes green. Once the cell reaches 4.1V–4.2V, the indicator will display the correct bar count.
