This 3.7V, 2600mAh lithium-ion battery replaces the original XBAT3700 TYPE 2 (0081305-001) cell in the Shark Cordless Rechargeable Hard Floor Sweeper V3700C. It fits the sweeper's internal battery bay and connects via the factory BMS circuit. Capacity is 2600mAh — use the product data, not the original cell's label, as the reference point.
- V3700C platform fit: The V3700C uses a single-cell 3.7V Li-ion pack with a specific connector and BMS handshake. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector geometry, so the charger communicates with the protection circuit without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge under the V3700C's motor load. The BMS held the low-voltage cutoff at the correct threshold and did not trip on the motor's startup draw.
- Dock charging practice on the V3700C: Do not leave the sweeper on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge degrades Li-ion cell capacity faster than cycling. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the V3700C
This happens when the motor draws more current than rated — usually because the filter is partially blocked. The cell voltage sags under the extra load, and the sweeper loses suction even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. The BMS reads actual cell voltage, not the indicator LED logic. Check and clear the filter first, then retest — if suction holds steady, the cell is fine.
Motor cuts out mid-run then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked inlet, clogged filter, or debris bridge — the motor draws a sustained current spike above the BMS cutoff threshold. The BMS disconnects the cell to protect it, then resets once current drops. Clear the blockage, wait 10 seconds for the BMS to reset, then power on again.
