Shenke infusion pumps apply a BMS threshold calibrated to the OEM cell's charge signature. A new replacement cell has not yet completed a learn cycle, so the pump's charge IC reads the state-of-charge conservatively and flags an alarm even when the cell is at full capacity. This is not a fault with the battery. Run one complete charge-to-discharge-to-charge cycle before clinical use — after that cycle, the BMS recalibrates its threshold to the new cell's actual capacity curve and the alarm clears.
Pump will not power on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If voltage drops below approximately 6.0V, the pump's BMS enters a protection state and blocks startup entirely — the device shows nothing, not even an error screen. Place the battery on a compatible charger for at least two hours before attempting to power the pump. Most BMS protection circuits release once the cell climbs back above the recovery threshold, typically around 6.4–6.8V per the standard Li-Polymer under-voltage release spec.
