BMS cutoff when the MP-ΣNⅡ probe module powers up
Probe initialisation on the MP-ΣNⅡ series draws a short current spike as the sensor module powers its internal circuitry. If the battery's BMS protection threshold is set too conservatively, this spike triggers an overcurrent cutoff before the instrument reaches the measurement screen. This pack's BMS is rated to handle the initialisation transient without interruption. If cutoff still occurs on first use, allow the pack to rest at full charge for 10 minutes before powering on — this lets cell voltage stabilise above 8.2V open-circuit.
Instrument powers on but shuts down during USB data transfer to PC
USB data transfer adds a second sustained draw on top of the active sensor load — together they can pull enough current to trip a marginal or partially depleted pack. This is not a software fault; it is a voltage sag issue. If the instrument cuts out during transfer, charge the battery to full before attempting a data dump. A healthy pack at full charge should hold above 7.0V under combined USB and sensor load throughout the transfer.
