Renasys Go not powering on after battery has been in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge over time, and if a replacement battery has sat in storage, its resting voltage may drop below the Renasys Go BMS recovery threshold — typically around 10V on a 14.4V pack. Below that threshold, the BMS enters deep-discharge protection and blocks startup entirely. Place the battery on a compatible 14.4V Li-ion charger and allow a trickle charge to bring the cell above the recovery floor before reinserting it into the device. Once the pack reads above 11V, normal charging resumes.
