This 3.7V Li-ion battery at 2400mAh replaces part numbers PBL87100, DM351, BBL87100, and BAT87100 in the SpectraLink PIVOT handset range. It fits the PIVOT 8741, 8743, 8753, and PBL87410. Drop it in when the original pack can no longer hold enough charge for a full day of office calls.

Why the PIVOT handset display shows incorrect battery bars after a swap
The PIVOT's fuel gauge reads state-of-charge relative to a baseline the handset calibrates during early charge cycles. A fresh Li-ion cell arrives at roughly 40–60% charge from storage, so the first few readings will be off. After two or three full charge-and-use cycles through the base cradle, the handset recalibrates and the bar display tracks the actual cell voltage accurately. If the bars still read erratically after five cycles, check that the battery contacts are clean and fully seated — a high-resistance contact causes voltage drop that the gauge misreads as capacity loss.
PIVOT handset loses pairing after battery replacement
Removing the original battery cuts power completely to the PIVOT's DECT radio module, and some handset firmware versions drop the base station registration when RAM loses power. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. To restore pairing, place the handset in the base, power it on, and run the registration sequence from the base station admin menu — typically accessed by holding the registration button on the base for three seconds until the LED flashes amber. Once re-registered, the handset returns to normal operation.
