Stiga E600U / G600 / 600M2 — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (2R0101118/ST1)
This 25.2V 2500mAh (63Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the original pack on the Stiga E600U, G600, and 600M2 cordless lawn mowers. It fits the same battery slot and connector as the factory unit. Voltage and BMS communication match the mower's control board.
- E600U, G600, and 600M2 compatibility: These three mowers share the same 25.2V battery platform, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One battery covers all three — no adapter needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through simulated blade-motor load pulses and confirmed the BMS holds voltage without false cutoff under normal inrush demand. Cell balance across the pack stayed within 20mV after five full cycles.
- Seasonal storage tip: Before the first mow of spring, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells have higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current can trip the BMS on a cold pack before the mower moves a metre.
BMS cutoff on thick-grass or wet-grass blade load
The E600U blade motor draws a sharp inrush current when it bites into dense or wet grass. If the BMS reads that spike as an overcurrent event, it cuts the output to protect the cells. A fresh or cold pack is more susceptible because internal resistance is higher. Let the mower pause for five seconds before restarting — this resets the BMS latch without needing to remove the battery.

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly in storage. After several months in a cold garage, the pack voltage can drop below the charger's acceptance threshold — typically around 20V for a 25.2V pack — triggering a fault or no-charge indication. Remove the battery, bring it indoors to room temperature for two hours, then reconnect it to the charger. Most chargers will begin a recovery charge once the cell temperature normalises and the pack voltage is above the acceptance floor.
