Back-to-back scans combine imager or laser draw with simultaneous 802.11 radio polling — both peaks land on the cell at the same time. On a degraded or partially charged pack, this combined inrush causes a voltage sag that drops below the radio module's minimum operating voltage, and the wireless stack resets.
