If the cell voltage is already low or the BMS overcurrent threshold is marginal, that spike can trip a protective cutoff and force a hard reboot. The result looks like a random crash, but it is consistently tied to print events. Keep the battery above 20% charge during active service, and confirm the terminal firmware is current — some firmware versions adjusted the BMS trip threshold specifically for printer load.
